Frequently Asked Questions

How much do I need to invest to get an STR?

This depends on the type of property you desire to acquire. There are single-family homes, condos and hotel room type properties available soon. 

How is the partnership structure set up and how does that work? 

Partnership will be structured as a Dominican LLC Corporation, and you will learn all the details about partnering on short-term vacation rentals at the event.  

What if I don’t want to partner on a house, can I still purchase a home in the development you offer?

Yes. We have many different developments that have different forms of participation. Such as rental arbitrage, land ownership, STR partnerships and resort developments.  

Do I have to be an accredited investor to participate? 

No, we are allowing all different types of investors to participate.  

How long after a purchase will it take to complete the build and start earning revenue?

The build will take 5-7 months depending on the model you purchase.

Is the Samana Region of the Dominican Republic safe?

“ I have seen news reports of crime in the DR. After living in the DR for 14 years, I have never seen a crime in our area against a foreigner. I have my 79 year old Father walking around the city. He sticks out like a sore thumb. During all my time there, all I have ever seen was petty theft. The locals appreciate Americans and Canadians and their spending habits in the area.” (Bart Griffin) 

What are the sizes of the homes you are offering?

Currently, the models are 2 Bed 2 Bath and 3 bedroom and 4 bath single family homes. 

Do I need to have all the money up front in order to secure my lot and start building my home?

No, it will depend on what deal structure you choose. A typical deposit is $25,000 to secure your location and $25,000 at closing.  

Who is responsible for furnishing the home?

All homes come fully furnished. (Swimming Pools and hot tubs are optional) 

What are the tax advantages?

There are many tax incentives to owning in the DR by becoming a resident in the DR and having dual citizenship.  We cover these tax advantages in great detail at our Virtual Bootcamp. 

Who manages the property?

We manage the property and share in the STR net profits with you. 

How often can I stay at the property?

This varies based upon the partnership opportunity versus outright purchase.
